HydroForce Rapid is a versatile surfactant formulation which can offer multiple functions in improving water availability in turf management.
At lower rates of application, HydroForce Rapid can act as concentrated, high quality thatch and soil penetrant, designed to quickly and efficiently move water away from the foliage and thatch and into the growing medium. As a tank mix partner with soil applied plant protection and plant nutrition products, HydroForce Rapid can also be used to maximize the quantity of active ingredients in reaching their target.
When used at higher rates of application, HydroForce Rapid offers a medium term residual soil surfactant option, providing up to 6-8 weeks performance, whilst assisting in overcoming hydrophobic soil conditions and improving re-wetting performance.
HydroForce Rapid can also be used as a highly concentrated surfactant formulation for injection into irrigation systems to significantly improve water penetration and limit the impact of evaporative forces. Due to its economical features, HydroForce Rapid is ideal for large area usage situations.
The key penetrant surfactant molecule used within the product is Alkyl Polyglycoside (APG). This product is a relatively new material derived from sugar and fatty acid molecules and is well known to dramatically improve water penetration rates.
HydroForce Rapid as well as containing a concentrated level of penetrant surfactant technology, also possesses a convenient level of a residual block co-polymer surfactant. When these molecules are used in combination, HydroForce Rapid offers multiple surfactant wetting capabilities to improve overall turf performance.
